Once again, one week in Corsica. This time without Polo but with sunshine...

Adrian and I were invited to the wedding of my high school best friend Hiba, in her home town Amman, Jordan. We were able to turn this into a whole week of vacation. So after the beautiful wedding we went on a 3-day trek on horse-back through the desert in Wadi Rum, and spent one day in Petra, an ancient city built of stone by Nabataeans.

2 weeks spontaneous vacation in Tanzania: Dar es Salaam, Mikumi National Park, Zanzibar. I was there with Yvonne, and over Easter Manuel and Michi (also Basel epidemiologists working in Tanzania) joined us to enjoy a deserted white beach on Zanzibar.
